I usually only drink white wine, but today I wanted to try something new: a glass of red – Doppio Passo Primitivo – with steak.
Bold, dark, full of fruit – the wine paired perfectly with the meal. For me, it felt a bit heavier than what I’m used to, but that’s exactly what made it interesting. I wouldn’t reach for it every evening, but with steak, it showed it’s strengh.
Wine Notes:
Wine: Doppio Passo Primitivo – Pulgia, Italy
Color: Deep dark red
Aroma: Ripe berries, a hint of spice
Taste: Full-bodied, fruity, soft finish
Mood: Perfect match for steak or other hearty meat dishes
Overall Impression: A powerful wine – not my everyday choice, but perfect for the right moment.
